Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the rich histories, traditions, and cultures that continue to shape our communities.
This year’s national theme, “Raíces y Resistencia: Honoring Our Past, Defending Our Future,” feels especially meaningful as O Bee celebrates its 70th anniversary with the message, “Honoring our roots. Embracing our future.” Both remind us of the importance of cherishing our heritage while looking ahead with optimism and resilience.
Observed from September 15 through October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month is followed closely by Día de los Muertos on November 1–2. During this season, O Bee will honor these traditions and celebrate the Members and team members who bring them to life.
From October 27 through November 2, Ofrendas will be displayed in each O Bee branch. An Ofrenda is a traditional altar created for Día de los Muertos to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Each will include meaningful decorations such as marigolds, candles, and a digital photo frame featuring the memories shared by our community.
If you would like to honor a loved one—or even a beloved pet—you are invited to contribute up to three photos using the link below. Please be sure to complete the photo release form included.
We look forward to recognizing and celebrating your loved ones together in this meaningful way.
