About O Bee
O Bee Credit Union is the original credit union of the Olympia Brewery. In fact, the name "O Bee" is short for Olympia Beer. We started in 1955 in Bottlehouse A by providing financial services to the hardworking employees of the Olympia Brewery. Today, anyone living in Washington State is eligible for membership.
O Bee is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution. The structure of credit unions inherently holds us accountable to our members. We do not have stockholders, and we do not engage in risky practices to meet stockholders' profit demands. Additionally, as a not-for-profit cooperative, member deposits are invested back into our membership through better rates and lower fees.
