As you may know, O Bee is the Original Credit Union of the Olympia Brewery. With our history rooted in brewing beer, it’s understandable that we have a soft-spot for local breweries. We asked staff from each branch to share their favorite hometown brew pubs.
 
Olympia
Well 80 – This brand new brewery sits on the 80^th Artesian Well in downtown Olympia. It features a large space with an open-air feel and nostalgic Olympia Beer memorabilia scattered throughout. They’re rumored to have the Original Olympia Beer recipe (with plans to begin brewing it) making this an undeniable O Bee staff favorite.

Tumwater
Matchless Brewing – Matchless is dog and kid friendly making this a natural family destination. Picnic style tables give it a laid-back bar-b-que feel. On weekends they roll in a food truck and showcase live music. Corn hole is available to enthusiasts along with a great selection of IPA’s. O Bee hosted their Annual Staff Meeting here cementing it as a popular choice.

Lacey
Top Rung – Offers flights to sample a medley of their unique brews. The Lacey branch staff declare it a “family friendly” hidden gem tucked away in an industrial part of north Hawks Prairie with indoor and outdoor seating. Although they do have warm pretzels and snacks available for sale, they partner with local food vendors that rotate on weekends. Also, you are able (and highly encouraged) to bring in outside food or have it delivered.

Tenino
Old Hwy 99 – Dubbed the “Best bar on the planet” on the review site, Yelp. They offer outdoor patio seating, a juke box with old favorites and current hits, and a good selection of classic beers, making this a Tenino branch treasure.

Yelm
Uptown Lounge – Referred to as date-night central by Yelm branch staff and local patrons. This establishment is lauded for their “commitment to customer service” and their “relaxed ambiance”, per customer reviews. As the name suggests, it is an up-scale option for drinks and fine dining in Yelm.

Point Ruston
Two Town Pub & Café - Our new branch manager, Leo Henriquez, has taken frequent trips to Point Ruston as construction of the branch surges ahead.  She loves the outdoor seating and incomparable, panoramic views of the sound. As a dog owner, she adores their dog-friendly patio area, making it an instant favorite.
