IP Address – Once you’re signed up for digital banking, our security system recognizes the unique ID of your computer or mobile device. In turn, this enables our system to block others from attempting to access your account from unrecognized devices or locations.
Two-Factor Authentication – Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to your online and mobile accounts. It requires a second login credential – beyond just the username and password – to gain account access. In most cases a unique code is sent to your cell phone or your email address. The code is used to confirm your ID and ensure that only you can gain access to your account.
Alerts –You can set up real-time notifications about changes to your account with the Alerts option. Alerts are handy for instant updates on loan payments, for example. However, Alerts can also be set up for security. We have all made a change to a password at some time and have received a notice about it. This is the same idea. You can choose to be notified by email or text message for following events:
- Login from new device
- Username change
- Password change
- Email address change
- Mobile phone change
- Changes in balances
- Transactions and deposits
Fingerprint and Face ID Sign-In – Securely sign in to your mobile account using your fingerprint or Face ID. It’s fast to set up, super secure and it saves you from typing in a password each time.
Message Center – Send us a secure message 24/7 through online or mobile banking. A representative will respond within hours during the business day, or by the next business day if you contact us after hours. Anything from transfer requests to account balances can be safely discussed through this secure messaging system.
Card Management – If you’ve misplaced your debit or credit card, or believe it may have been stolen, you can quickly turn your card off until you find it. This will stop any fraudulent transactions while the card is out of your possession. If you find it, you can turn the card back on and use it immediately.
Mobile Check Deposit – Safely and securely deposit checks in a snap. Our mobile app gives you easy, step-by-step instructions. Use your phone to take a picture of the check and then deposit it. All inside our secure app. No need to visit a branch or ATM.
eStatements – Protect yourself from mail fraud and identity theft by eliminating the risk of having your statement stolen from your mailbox. Sign up for digital eStatements. eStatements are simple to access through the Documents tile in online or mobile banking. They arrive each month much faster than paper statements, and they are always at your fingertips with a few clicks.
