Online and Mobile Banking is Safe and Secure

O Bee’s electronic banking services are highly secure with multiple layers of protection in place. Members can rest assured that personal information and privacy is our number one priority. Here is a look into our compounded security system that locks down your account, keeping it safe and secure.

ONLINE BANKING
Online Banking allows you to do your banking on your personal computer or tablet with an internet connection. Here are just a few of the security screens we have in place:

IP Address – Once you’re signed up for online banking, our security system recognizes the unique ID of your computer or mobile device. In turn, this enables our system to block others from attempting to access your account from unrecognized devices or locations. 

Security Questions – In the event you do need to access your online account from a different computer or mobile phone, we’ll ask you special security questions that only you are able to answer. This helps us to confirm it’s really you. 

Personal Image – Every time you sign into your online banking account, you’ll be shown a distinctive image — such as a cow, a dog, a flower etc. — that you selected when you signed up. This image is specific to you and verifies that you are signing into the correct account. 

Alerts –Alerts are real-time notifications about changes to your account. These are handy for instant updates on loan payments, for example. However, Alerts can also notify you if someone is attempting to access your account. We have all made a change to a password at some time and have received a notice about it. This is the same idea. Our system double checks that account access or changes were made by the actual account owner. You can choose to be notified by email or text message of the following events: 

•    Invalid Login
•    Successful Login
•    Username was changed
•    Password was changed
•    Change in Balance
•    And more

eStatements – Combat mail theft by opting into eStatements through online banking. Don’t give criminals access to your mailed account balances, making you a target for fraud and scams. Plus, eStatements can always be printed if you need a hard copy. 

Message Center – Send us a secure message 24/7 through online or mobile banking. A representative will respond to you by the next business day. Anything from transfer requests to account balances can be safely discussed through this secure messaging system. 
     
MOBILE BANKING
Mobile banking allows you to do your banking from a cell phone or tablet using our mobile app. Once you download our mobile app to your phone or tablet, you can do a vast amount of banking, including depositing checks and applying for a loan.  

Fingerprint Sign-In – Securely sign into to your account using your fingerprint. No one else has your fingerprint. It’s fast, super secure and it saves you from typing in a password each time.

Card Controls – If you’ve misplaced your debit or credit card, or believe it may have been stolen, you can quickly turn your card off until you find it. This will stop any fraudulent transactions while the card is out of your possession. If you find it, you can turn the card back on and use it immediately. 

Mobile Check Deposit – Safely and securely deposit checks in a snap. Our mobile app gives you easy, step-by-step instructions. Use your phone to take a picture of the check and then deposit it. All inside our secure app. No need to visit a branch or ATM. 

Messages & Alerts – Just like Online Banking, you can set up Alerts and send secure Messages in the mobile app too.
