Teddy Bear Tea Party

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

The Capital Rotary presents the Teddy Bear Tea Party for children ages 2-7 and their families. Children are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal of their choice. The Elks Lodge will be festively decorated for Christmas with Santa and Mrs. Claus present, and the Berenstain Bears will be there too! There will be musical entertainment, craft projects, cookie decorating, snacks and more. Get your tickets and remember to bring your camera to take pictures.

New Unwrapped Toy -OR- $10/single or $15/couple. Please do NOT donate stuffed animals.

Olympia Beer Advertising Art Show
Original Paintings from the 1930s through the 1950s
“It’s the Art!” This free show features over 50 original advertising artworks created for the Olympia Brewing Company during the 1930s through 1950s. These paintings, hidden away for decades and only recently rediscovered, were translated into billboards, and illustrate the social norms during the Depression and war years. The exhibit will feature written insight and discussion of the artwork by nationally known poster artist and art critic Art Chantry. This show proudly sponsored by O Bee Credit Union and Olympia Tumwater Foundation.
