March 30, 2020 - The past few weeks have been some of the most challenging our community has ever faced. We are fighting an invisible foe – one that threatens our neighbors, our friends and our family. The coronavirus has impacted everyone. Here at O Bee, we realigned our business model to focus on the unique demands of this emergency in just a matter of days. Our dedicated team has worked hard to maintain the exceptional level of service you depend on. We’ve removed several fees, enhanced our online and mobile banking options, and established drive-thru only branches for the safety of members and tellers. We are modifying existing loans in unprecedented numbers at record speed and offering emergency loans at a very low annual percentage rate.

We are fielding a marked increase in calls to our Call Center with grace, care and yes, humor. In addition, we are working with the Small Business Administration (SBA) in order to assist our business account holders in obtaining low-interest loans and working capital. Those are just a few of the things that may be apparent to you. We are also working behind the scenes in ways that you can’t see, but that are equally important.

We understand that you are concerned with the current economic landscape given the closure of businesses, schools and industry. O Bee is right beside you in that fight doing what we can to assist you in these extraordinary times. Be assured that we intend to leverage O Bee’s strong financial position to help our members through this. We have been here for 65 years, and we will be here for many years to come. Like you, O Bee is strong. We will get through this together.
